Toffee Hammer collaborated with animator and illustrator Holly Warburton to bring this story to life.

Her painterly, expressive style mirrors the texture of memory itself: blurred at the edges, more feeling than form, intimate and impressionistic. The project’s words needed more than a conventional short film - something that could hold the quiet resonance of loss and the enduring act of listening.

Jack Ledger-Dowse’s delicate, atmospheric score, coupled with Thomas Dalton’s sensitive sound design deepens the film’s emotional landscape.

Together, the collaboration creates a piece where voice, image, and sound all tune into the same frequency: one of love, loss, and quiet resilience.
